International co-ordination technical agreements have been negotiated for assignments in the 600 MHz band based on the existing DTT set of main station and higher power transmitter sites. The technical agreement for each assignment with respect to each neighbouring country form the spectrum rights of that assignment. New International co-ordination agreements have been signed for the 800 MHz DTT clearance (including 600MHz assignments) with France and Ireland in 2012. Co-ordination agreements with Belgium and the Netherlands are based on technical co-ordination parameters agreed at the last bilateral meeting with those countries.
