The City of Washington (“City”) and Michael D. McCoy (“McCoy”) hereby agree to extend the Washington Chief of Police Employment Agreement (“Employment Agreement”) through May 31, 2021, while the parties negotiate a successor agreement to the Employment Agreement. By this Washington Chief of Police Employment Extension Agreement, McCoy’s employment with the City under the Employment Agreement shall continue through May 31, 2021, unless terminated earlier pursuant to Paragraphs 20 or 21 of the Employment Agreement, or through mutual agreement of the parties on a successor agreement to the Employment Agreement. All other provisions of the Employment Agreement remain in full force and effect.
