THIS AMENDED INVESTMENT ADVISORY AND SERVICE AGREEMENT, dated and effective as of the 1st day of January, 2011, is made and entered into by and between INTERNATIONAL GROWTH AND INCOME FUND, a Delaware statutory trust, (the “Fund”), and CAPITAL RESEARCH AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY, a Delaware corporation (the “Investment Adviser”).
