Antique Vintage / Handmade / Flea Market
This Agreement sets forth the understandings and expectations between Generations Antiques and More, hereinafter referred to as “Generations Antiques and More” or “Generations” and the xxxxxx hereinafter referred to as the “Vendor.”
$20 for each event date, except August is $30 for both dates (whether you sign up for one or two days). Space size is approximately 13.5’ x 17’. Location of space will be provided a few days prior to the event via email. Fee is due upon application submission. Vendors will receive an email confirmation once a completed contract and fee is received. All events are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date. May 19th and September 22nd have rain dates of the Saturday after each scheduled event (May 26 and September 29, respectively). For events without a rain date (June 30, August 11 and August 12) this is a rain or shine event…no refunds. There are no refunds if rain dates are also rained out.
It is expected that each vendor be respectful to each and every person on the property. Each person is to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of how they might treat you. Generations is a growing business and has a very positive relationship with the community and wishes to continue that way. Vendors having trouble with behavior or respectfulness shall be removed immediately.
VENDOR ITEMS FOR SALE
Vendors will be categorized into 3 areas:
Antiques/Vintage Collectible Vendor: Appropriate items generally fall into the following categories: antiques, vintage, primitives, handmades, furniture (refinished, upcycled, repurposed, as is) and the like. No more than 25% of items are to be flea market/garage sale items.
Handmade Vendor: Appropriate items will generally be handmade and no more than 25% of items are flea market/garage sale.
Flea Market Vendor: Most of your items are normally available at a garage sale or flea market and not of a vintage/antique era.
RISK OF LOSS AND INDEMNIFICATION
Vendor assumes sole risk of loss, theft or damage to merchandise and other personal property belonging to vendor while such property or merchandise is in Vendor’s space or on Generations premises or being stored by Generations as provided herein. Vendor acknowledges that neither Generations nor the owner of the real estate property assumes any responsibility to insure the safety or to protect Vendor’s merchandise from loss or damage caused by fire, rain, theft, malicious mischief, accident or any other cause. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold Generations and the real estate property owner and their partners, directors, officers, shareholders, managers, employees and its agent harmless from any liability damage, cost or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising from (a) Vendor’s use of or activities in or around Vendor’s spaces (s) or Generations premises and/or (b) injury to persons or property resulting from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, any furniture or fixtures in Vendor’s Space, or from Merchandise, other property or other items sold or exchanged by Vendor. Vendor assumes full responsibility for all merchandise Vendor offers for sale.
VENDOR BOOTH RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the responsibility of the vendor to provide their own table, chairs, tent, garbage bags or any other items they may need. Overnight storage is not available. However, if a vendor wishes to leave items up against the building, it is done so as per the Indemnification clause above. Vendors are responsible for leaving the property in the same condition as prior to their arrival. Generations Antiques is providing the property space only.
SET UP AND TEAR DOWN
Event advertised times of selling is 9am – 3 pm each event day. Booth markings for each vendor location will be done by 5pm the day prior to each event date. Generations will be at the shop by 7:30 am the day of the event. Vendors are welcome to set up anytime in the morning but are to be set up, done, and ready by 8:45 am. Tear down is any time after 3pm. Sunday, August 12th, tear down is any time after the parade finishes past our shop. You can stay open later if you prefer, the shop will be open till 5pm.
