Working on a Recognized Holiday. Any nurse who works on a recognized holiday shall be paid one and one-half (1-1/2) times her/his base rate, plus differentials, as specified above for all such holiday hours worked.

Working on a Recognized Holiday. 19 Nurses required to work on a recognized holiday shall receive one and one- 20 half (1½) times the hourly rate of pay for all hours worked. In the event a 21 nurse is called back to work on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New 22 Year's Day, the nurse shall be paid two times (2x) the regular hourly rate of 23 pay for all time worked on that day. 24 25 Beginning July 1, 2018, nurses required to work on a recognized holiday 26 shall receive one and one-half (1½) times the hourly rate of pay when the 27 majority of hours worked fall on the holiday. In event a nurse is called back to 28 work on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, the nurse 29 shall be paid two (2) times the regular hourly rate of pay when the majority of 30 the hours worked are on that day.
