WORKING DOUBLE SHIFTS. If an employee is requested by the Employer to work a double shift that spans two (2) calendar days, it is understood and agreed that any hours worked over 7.5 hours will be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2). This Letter of Understanding only applies to the following situation: If an employee works the afternoon shift and they are then requested by the Employer to work the evening/midnight shift (or part thereof), they will be paid time and one-half (1 1/2) for those hours worked continuously past 7.5 hours.
