WORK WEEK AND WORK YEAR. A. Twelve Month Custodial Employees A twelve-month custodial employee is an employee who is regularly scheduled to work a 40-hour week, twelve months a year. Time worked over 40 hours in a week will be compensated for at a rate of one and one-half (1U) times the regular hourly rate. The work year shall commence on July 1st and end on June 30th. No less than one-half (U) hour will be permitted for unpaid lunch. Custodians/cleaners/bus drivers may be 12-month employees.

WORK WEEK AND WORK YEAR. A. Work Week - The normal work day shall be six [6] hours for five [5] days a week, Monday through Friday inclusive, or a total of thirty [30] hours per week. Each employee shall have an unpaid lunch period of one-half [1/2] hour per day. Each employee shall be entitled to a paid fifteen (15) minute break during the day. Employees may be required to work prior to or beyond the normal work day. Compensation will be paid for all time worked provided such compensation is at the regular hourly rate and further any work beyond the normal work day must have the prior approval of the Superintendent or, in his/her absence, his/her designee, in order to be eligible for compensation. In the event of an emergency or other unexpected circumstance that necessitates a bargaining unit member work beyond his/her normal work day, the bargaining unit member must report said additional work on the approved form to the Superintendent or his/her designee no later than the next work day. The School Committee retains the right to implement a time clock system. Management will notify the Association at least sixty (60) days prior to the installation of any time clock system. During said sixty (60) day time period, the parties will impact bargain time clock system and the parties will execute a memorandum of understanding memorializing the logistics of the implementation of the time clock system. The purpose of the time clock system will be to register the time when an employee begins his/her shift for the day, and when an employee ends his/her shift for the day. WORK WEEK AND WORK YEAR. A. Regular Employees – Regular employees are those employees in either full-time or part-time positions who have successfully completed their six (6) month probationary period.
WORK WEEK AND WORK YEAR. Bargaining unit members shall be employed on either a year round schedule (260 work days) or a 220 work day schedule. Employees may be scheduled on either a full time (37.5 or 40 hours per week) or part time (fewer than 37.5 hours per week) basis. Each employee’s workday shall be determined by the Superintendent or designee based on the needs of the employee’s building assignment.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day.   • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.

  • Weekend Work (1) All ordinary hours of work performed between midnight on Friday and midnight on Sunday shall be paid for at the rate of time and one-half.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Standard Workweek Except as noted below the standard workweek for full-time employees consists of five (5) consecutive eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday each week. Non-overtime hours and starting and quitting times for such employees shall be the same throughout the standard workweek. The standard workweek does not apply to the following:
