Common use of Work Shoes Clause in Contracts

Work Shoes. ‌ Effective 7/1/ 2025, all AFSCME Local #2422 employees whose duties require outdoor work that is more rigorous than a normal office environment shall be reimbursed in an amount up to $175.00 (one hundred seventy-five dollars) per fiscal year for the purchase of such clothing and/or footwear. It is mutually understood and agreed that the City shall have the sole right to determine the need for, and the type of, clothing and work shoes to be worn.
