Work Shifts - Scheduling. An employee shall receive a minimum of ten (10) hours rest between scheduled work shifts exclusive of overtime.

  • Scope of Work The Contractor has overall responsibility for and shall provide and furnish all materials, equipment, tools and labor as necessary or reasonably inferable to complete the Work, or any phase of the Work, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of the Contract Documents.

  • HOURS OF WORK i) Where employees are now working a longer daily tour, the provisions set out in this Article governing the regular hours of work on a daily tour shall be adjusted accordingly.

  • Training State Street agrees to provide training, at a designated State Street training facility or at the Designated Locations, to the Fund’s personnel in connection with the use of the System on the Designated Configuration. The Fund agrees that it will set aside, during regular business hours or at other times agreed upon by both parties, sufficient time to enable all operators of the System and the Data Access Services, designated by the Fund, to receive the training offered by State Street pursuant to this Addendum.

  • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

  • Sick Leave The employee is eligible for long term disability benefits if provided for in the Collective Agreement. An employee will not receive pay for the first two (2) weeks of any period of absence due to a legitimate illness. The employee may utilize the paid holiday bank as income replacement for absences due to illness, as described in Article (c) above. An employee who is eligible may apply for Employment Insurance for weeks three (3) through seventeen (17) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. The Home will provide the employee with Disability Income Protection as per Article 14.01 (c) for weeks eighteen (18) through thirty (30) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. Employees may be required to provide medical proof of illness for any absence of a scheduled shift, which is neither vacation nor an approved leave of absence.

  • GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE It is desired that differences between employees and supervisors be resolved as quickly as possible. To achieve this goal, employees are encouraged to discuss such differences with their supervisor as soon as possible after they are aware of the event leading to the difference and prior to filing a grievance. Supervisors are similarly encouraged to be responsive to such discussions. Adjustments may not conflict with this Agreement or applicable laws, regulations, or policies and shall not be precedential. Such discussion is at the employee's option and the time limits for filing a grievance shall be adhered to. If the supervisor has not responded, or the employee is not satisfied with the supervisor's response, the employee must file a written grievance at Step One within the time frames set forth below. A grievance shall be defined as any controversy or dispute involving the application or interpretation of the terms of this Agreement arising between the CEA or an employee or employees and the Employer. Grievances shall be processed on forms provided by the Employer. The grievance shall state the facts giving rise to the grievance, the specific provision(s) of the Agreement that are alleged to have been violated, and the remedy requested. If the Employer fails to render a decision within the allotted time, the grievance may be advanced to the next step by the CEA. Time frames may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties. Step One: An employee shall individually, or with a CEA representative, present the written grievance to the Division Director of the employing division within twenty (20) working days of the disputed action or the date the employee is made aware of the action, whichever is later. The supervisor shall respond in writing within ten (10) working days of receipt. The written grievance shall state specifically which Article(s) and Section(s) the Employer may have violated and the manner in which the violation is alleged to have occurred. Settlements reached at Step One shall be binding only if such settlements are consistent with the provisions of this Agreement, the policies and regulations of the Employer, and the authority of the respondent. Grievances settled at Step One which are found to be inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, the policies and regulations of the Employer, and/or the authority of the respondent may be reopened by the Employer through written notice to CEA within ten (10) working days after receipt of the settlement. CEA may advance such a grievance directly to Step Two. Step Two: If the grievance is unresolved at the prior Step, an appeal may be submitted by the CEA representative in writing to the Commissioner of the Department of Administration within ten (10) working days after the prior Step response is due or received. Within five (5) working days of receipt at Step Two, the grievance shall be the subject of a conference between the CEA representative and a representative of the Commissioner of the Department of Administration. If the representatives are unable to resolve the grievance, the Commissioner or designee shall respond in writing within ten (10) working days after the conference.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • HOLIDAYS Whenever payment of a Loan to be made or taken hereunder shall be due on a day which is not a Business Day such payment shall be due on the next Business Day (except as provided in Section 4.2 [Interest Periods]) and such extension of time shall be included in computing interest and fees, except that the Loans shall be due on the Business Day preceding the Expiration Date if the Expiration Date is not a Business Day. Whenever any payment or action to be made or taken hereunder (other than payment of the Loans) shall be stated to be due on a day which is not a Business Day, such payment or action shall be made or taken on the next following Business Day, and such extension of time shall not be included in computing interest or fees, if any, in connection with such payment or action.
