Common use of Work-related Injury/Disability Clause in Contracts

Work-related Injury/Disability. A faculty member who receives an Employer Contribution and who is off the State payroll due to a work-related injury or a work- related disability remains eligible for an Employer Contribution as long as such faculty member receives workers’ compensation payments. If such faculty member ceases to receive workers’ compensation payments for the injury or disability and is granted a disability leave under Article 17, he/she shall be eligible for an Employer Contribution during that leave.

Work-related Injury/Disability. A faculty member who receives an Employer Contribution and who is off the State payroll due to a work-related injury or a work- work-related disability remains eligible for an Employer Contribution as long as such faculty member receives workers’ compensation payments. If such faculty member ceases to receive workers’ compensation payments for the injury or disability and is granted a disability leave under Article 17, he/she shall be eligible for an Employer Contribution during that leave.

If such faculty member ceases to receive workers’ ' 36 compensation payments for the injury or disability and is granted a disability leave under 37 Article 1715, Section 4 he/she shall be eligible for an Employer Contribution during that leave.
