Work-Related Exposure. Staff will be notified immediately when a student or staff person with whom they have/may have had close contact has tested positive for COVID-19. Any staff person who has a documented work-related exposure shall be placed on paid administrative leave for fourteen (14) days beginning with the date of last exposure. Exposed staff may elect to take a COVID-19 test. While insurance may be billed, the test will be at no cost to the employee, and if the test is negative, the employee may return to work. If a staff person tests positive for COVID-19 due to a work-related exposure, he or she shall be placed on paid administrative leave for fourteen (14) days or for the duration of the COVID-19 illness, whichever is greater, beginning with the date of the last exposure.
