Work Package Leaders. 6.5.1 The Members of the Executive Board are also work package leaders, meaning they are the leading Party for any of the work packages described in the Action. Each work package leader is responsible for the follow up of the work in the respective work package in compliance with the objectives and general scope of work as agreed by the Parties.

Work Package Leaders. Each Work Package Leader shall manage its respective Work Package, in particular with regard to: the timely delivery of reports and Work Package Results to the Management Board and the Coordinator; reviewing the quality of the reports; formulating an implementation plan for the activities within the Work Package for the future period, which can imply proposing to the Management Board changes to the Consortium Plan and/or Annex 1 of the Grant Agreement ; making proposals to the Management Board for the accession of new entities to the Grant Agreement and to the Consortium Agreement in order for said new entities to participate in the Work Package; alerting the Management Board and the Coordinator in case of delay in the performance of the Work Package or in case of breach of responsibilities of any Participant under said Work Package; documenting, at the request of the Management Board, a presumed breach of responsibilities of a Participant under the Work Package and preparing a proposal for remedies to the Management Board; deciding upon any exchange of Tasks and related budgets between the Participants in a Work Package when such exchange has no impact beyond the scope of the Work Package and its budget.

The Work Package Leader shall have the following functions: - coordinating on a day-to-day basis the progress of the technical work under the Work Package - communicating any plans, deliverables, documents and information connected with the Work Package between its Parties and, if relevant, to the Steering Committee - approving concerned deliverables - submitting the implementation plan of the Work Package to the Steering Committee for review and proposing updates to the Annex I of the EC-GA. - following up decisions made by Steering Committee insofar as they affect the Work Package - advising the Coordinator of any discrepancy with the Annex I of the EC-GA, including any delay in delivery.
Work Package Leaders. Each Work Package has a designated Work Package Leader (WPL) responsible for: ● Coordinating the Tasks of the Work Package assuring the active involvement of the partners in the implementation of the activities and in the production of the deliverables of the coordinated WP in compliance with the established deadlines and indications given by the Steering Committee; ● Ensuring the quality control of the Tasks and the Deliverable of the Work Packages the WPL is responsible for; ● Preparing the corresponding high-quality Work Package periodic Reports and Deliverables respecting timing and milestones. For this purpose, they will gather all contributions needed from the Partners involved in the Work Package implementation; ● Dealing with all issues concerning the implementation of activities described in Annex I of the Grant Agreement; ● Monitoring all Project activities in order to have regularly an up-to-date idea of state of progress of the Project, the performance of the concerned Parties responsible for the activities of the work package; ● Timely informing the Coordinator of any changes and adjustments to the original Work Plan and/or Consortium Plan, related to the leaded work package, at any time deemed necessary, in order to discuss the issue at the Steering Committee; ● Supporting the Coordinator in handling any disagreement that may arise among the Parties involved in the work package execution .
