Work on Holiday. Employees who work on a holiday shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times their normal hourly rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday, in addition to receiving their automatic holiday pay.
Work on Holiday. Any nurse who is required to work on a holiday designated in 9.1 (excluding Personal Holidays) shall be paid one and one-half (1 1/2) times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked. Full-time nurses shall also receive up to eight (8) hours holiday pay. Part-time nurses will receive one (1) hour of holiday pay for each hour worked on the holiday to a maximum of eight (8) hours’ pay. Any overtime hours will be paid at two (2) times the nurse’s regular rate of pay. Nurses working the second shift on Christmas Eve shall receive time and one-half (1 1/2) the regular rate of pay.
Work on Holiday. When required to work on the day when a holiday is observed, an employee shall receive eight (8) hours of straight-time pay for the holiday plus either pay or compensatory time off at the convenience of the City and the employee at time and one-half (1-1/2) the regular rate of pay for hours worked.
Work on Holiday. Full-time and part-time regular employees who work on a holiday shall be paid one and one-half (1½) times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked plus Holiday pay at straight time (if holiday is on employee’s regularly scheduled day on. Holiday pay is the number of hours the employee was scheduled to work had it not been for the holiday; if holiday is on employee’s regularly scheduled day off, add the employee’s regularly scheduled hours for that pay period, divide that figure by the number of days regularly scheduled and then multiply by employee’s FTE to find the prorated amount of holiday pay). In addition, upon mutual agreement, a day off as unpaid leave with benefits may be taken within a thirty (30) day period following the holiday. Temporary employees required to work on a holiday shall receive one and one- half (1½) times their regular rate of pay.
Work on Holiday. Each employee who works on a recognized holiday, except Christmas, and who works his regularly scheduled shift immediately before and after the holiday worked, shall receive his regular holiday pay, plus pay at the straight-time rate for the first eight (8)hours worked on the holiday.
Work on Holiday. When it is necessary to work on Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; day after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; New Year's Eve; and Good Friday; double time shall be paid for the hours worked in addition to their holiday day.
Work on Holiday. Nurses, who work a majority of their shift hours on a fixed holiday as set forth in Section 10.11 herein, shall be compensated at time and one-half (1½) the employee's regular rate of pay for all hours worked. Nurses who work over their regularly scheduled shift on a holiday will receive two times (2X) their hourly wage for all hours worked above their scheduled shift.
Work on Holiday. An employee who qualifies for holiday pay under Section 9.2 of this article and who works on a holiday listed in Section 9.1 of this article shall be compensated in accordance with the overtime provisions of this Agreement in addition to such holiday pay. An employee who does not qualify for holiday pay but who works on any such holiday shall be compensated in accordance with the overtime provisions of this Agreement.
Work on Holiday. Employees shall not generally be required to report for work on a holiday recognized in this Agreement; however, employees may be required to work on a holiday on a rotating basis with seniority preference when government regulations specify that an employee must be available. Employees will be paid at the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday, prorated for part-time employees, and the employee will be paid an additional eight (8) hours for the holiday prorated for part-time employees or the employee may elect to take an alternative day off during the same week the holiday falls with prior supervisor approval.
Work on Holiday. Counsel required to work on a day observed by the Employer as a paid holiday shall be entitled to time off in lieu of a holiday to be taken at a time mutually agreed upon between Counsel and their supervisor.
