Work Day and Year. 6.1 Association members are required to work the scheduled number of hours in a work day as defined by individual department work schedules as defined below: Town Offices: The regular work week for most Town Office employees shall be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break (36 ¼ hours per week). The Community Development and Planning Division has variable hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break.

Work Day and Year. 8.1 The work year for Category #2 and #3 except the secretary/receptionist position employees shall be no more than 185 days and no less than 180 days. Required non-school work days shall be within one week of the beginning or end of the school year. The secretary/receptionist position may be required to work an additional twenty (20) days in the summer. In the event of a cancelled school day which is not made up by the District, or in the event of unanticipated early release or delayed opening, the employees shall suffer no loss in pay. On scheduled early release days, employees shall suffer not loss in pay from their regular work day. On these early release days, the District will schedule professional development and/or allow employees to perform work related tasks such as billing and other documentation which is necessary for their job assignment.

Said 180 days will coincide with the days that school is in session with the exception of the Full Day Professional Development Day(s). The regular workweek shall be Monday through Friday inclusive. The regular workday of all full-time Food Service employees shall be determined by the Director of Food Services as necessary at a minimum of four (4) hours per day.
