Bid withdrawal notices received after the bid submission deadline will be ignored, and the submitted bid will be deemed to be a validly submitted bid. 23.5 The substitution or modification of the bid shall be prepared, sealed, marked, and dispatched as follows: (a) The Bidders shall provide an original and the number of copies specified in the BDS for ITB Clause 19.1 of any substitution or modification to its bid, clearly identified as such, in two inner envelopes duly marked “Bid Substitution -- Original” or “Bid Modification -- Original” and “Bid Substitution -- Copies” or “Bid Modification -- Copies.” The inner envelopes shall be sealed in an outer envelope, which shall be duly marked “Bid Substitution” or “Bid Modification”. (b) Other provisions concerning the marking and dispatch of a bid substitution or modification shall be in accordance with ITB Clauses 20.2, 20.3, and 20.4. 23.6 No bid may be withdrawn, substituted, or modified in the interval between the bid submission deadline and the expiration of the bid validity period specified by the Bidder in the Bid Submission Form, or any extension thereof agreed to by the Bidder. Withdrawal of a bid during this interval may result in the execution of the Bid-Securing Declaration, if any, or forfeiture of the Bid Security, if any, pursuant to ITB Clause 17.6.
