Common use of Withdrawal Rights Clause in Contracts

Withdrawal Rights. Permanent employees have the right to withdraw a resignation or a notice of transfer, promotion and/or demotion to another region/institution or another state Agency by submitting a written notice of such withdrawal at any time within seventy-two (72) hours (excluding Sundays and holidays) after submission of the notice. The Appointing Authority thereafter may accept a withdrawal of any such notice at any time prior to the effective date. Employees who resign following a pre-disciplinary meeting may not withdraw their resignations.
