Withdrawal of Membership. By notifying the Auditor-Controller's Department in writing, between April 1 and April 30, any employee may withdraw from Association membership and discontinue paying dues as of the payroll period commencing June 1 discontinuance of dues payments to then be reflected in the July 10 paycheck. Immediately upon close of the above mentioned thirty (30) day period the Auditor- Controller shall submit to the Association a list of the employees who have rescinded their authorization for dues deduction. This can only be accomplished if and when agency shop would be rescinded.

Withdrawal of Membership. The dues deduction shall be for a specified amount and uniform between members of the Association. The Association shall indemnify, defend, and hold the District harmless against any claims made and against any suit instituted against the District on account of dues deduction. The Association shall refund to the District any amounts paid to it in error upon the presentation of supporting evidence.
