(c) Jury duty will be granted as leave with pay on the condition that any stipend received be turned over to the Board. i) For jury duty or for attending for selection purposes or any summons related thereto. ii) To answer a subpoena or summons to attend as a witness in any proceeding, authorized by law, compelling the attendance of the teacher, providing such is in accordance with the professional duties of the teacher. iii) To respond to a subpoena or a notice to attend court in a criminal or civil matter that is not related to the personal affairs of the teacher. iv) Provided that in i), ii) and iii), the teacher remits to the Board any witness fee or jury stipend, excluding allowances and/or expenses, set by the court or other body.
