White Goods. Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fuel, traffic control costs and other associated costs necessary for the collection of eligible white goods from the ROW, removal of refrigerants, transportation to a County approved debris management site, decontamination (of food containing items) and transportation to a County approved facility for recycling. Eligible white goods containing refrigerants must first have such refrigerants removed by the Contractor’s qualified technicians prior to mechanical loading. White Goods can be collected without first having refrigerants removed if the white goods are manually placed into a hauling vehicle with lifting equipment so that the elements containing refrigerants are not damaged.
