Where the Company is able to permit greater than ten (10%) percent vacation allowance in the Shipping & Delivery Drivers Department because of operational needs, and in accordance with Article 8.3(a) of the Collective Agreement, the Company will post a voluntary signup sheet during the week that is two (2) weeks prior to the week where vacation is available, or as soon as reasonably possible. The posting will be up for two (2) business days. The most senior person who has held back one (1) week of vacation and who signs up before the posting is taken down shall be granted the vacation. The Company reserves the right to schedule any vacations not booked by September 30th of each year as per Article 8.3(a) of the Collective Agreement. The Parties agree that this XXX will run as a one (1) year trial commencing with the 2021 vacation scheduling year. At the end of the one (1) year trial, the Parties may agree to extend or end the trial. Any decision with respect to continuing the trial will only be made by mutual agreement.

Run-out on Tour: any servicerendered while on tour at a location that is more than one (1) hour’s travel from the musician’s place of accommodation.

Vacation pay will be made at a rate equal to the highest straight-time rate employees have received for a period of fifty percent (50%) or more of their work time during the thirty (30) day period immediately preceding the vacation or the rate of their permanent job classification, whichever is higher.
