WATER HEATER. What is a Covered Repair? Repair or replacement of the following for which You have sole responsibility, that is damaged due to normal wear and tear: • the broken or failed electrical water heating elements, appliance regulators, atmospheric burners and parts, gas valves, pilot assemblies, pilot generators, pilot safeties, pilot tubing, relays, temperature controls, T and P relief valves, thermocouples, and vacuum valves, that are part of Your Home’s natural gas, atmospheric, power-direct-vent, power-vent, or direct-vent Water Heater. What is the maximum amount We will pay for Covered Repairs? • There is no maximum benefit limit (“Benefit Limit”). • Multiple Service Calls. See “What is a Service Call?” below. What will happen if We cannot repair Your Water Heater? • If parts are unavailable or obsolete or We deem Your Water Heater beyond repair, Your Water Heater will not be covered under this Service Agreement until an eligible replacement Water Heater has been installed.

Repair or replacement of the following for which You have sole responsibility, that is damaged due to normal wear and tear: • The broken or failed aquastats for drywell heaters; blower assembly and motors; atmospheric and pilot burners; low water cut offs; temperature and pressure relief valves; circuit boards; condensate pumps; conversion burner motors; density heating elements; fan and limit controls; A valve and B valves, primary gas valves; gas appliance regulators and controls; gauge glass and washers; ignition systems; induced draft motors; pilot and burner tubing; pilot xxxxxxx and pilot safeties; power burner motors for high efficiency equipment; switching relays and thermocouples; temperature controls and thermostats for electric water heaters; and original equipment vent dampers, that are part of Your Home’s electric, natural gas or propane Water Heater. • Programmable thermostats will be replaced with a comparable model used by the technician at the time of replacement. If You have a defective standard thermostat You may have it replaced with a programmable thermostat for an additional charge.
