Common use of WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM Clause in Contracts

WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. 18.1 The Developer shall construct a complete water supply and distribution system, including valves, valve boxes, fire hydrants, service connections, curb stops and boxes, blow offs and ground hydrants as may be required, for the purpose of servicing the Plan of Subdivision. The water distribution system shall be constructed in accordance with the Plans approved by the Director of Public Works, the Region of Niagara Public Works Department and the construction and materials shall be in accordance with Town’s most recent specifications therefor. All work on water distribution system shall be performed in accordance with Ontario Regulation 170/03 made under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002, S.O. 2002, c.32, as amended and the Town’s DWWP and DWWL. The Developer shall install, charge, test and maintain fire hydrants as required by the approved Plans and specifications in accordance with this Agreement to the complete satisfaction of the Town of Pelham Fire Department and the Director of Public Works.
