Wastewater Characteristics. Characterise your proposed tankered wastewater. Provide details of the physical and chemical components of the wastewater. The wastewater characteristics should be largely determined by the raw materials and the processes that result in the wastewater generation. For an existing wastewater stream, the characteristics of the effluent should be determined from monitoring/sampling. It is recommended to use all available sample data to determine the effluent characteristics, but a minimum of four sample is required. For a new wastewater stream, the characteristics should be based on best available information eg. a desktop analysis of a similar process elsewhere. If other, please provide details: The following table must be completed per wastewater type. If there is more than one wastewater type the table should be copied and provided as additional information for each wastewater type. Please indicate the source of the parameter results. If applicable, indicate the number of samples upon which the wastewater characteristic analysis is based.
