Common use of Warehousing Services Clause in Contracts

Warehousing Services. a) The Company will store the Goods of Customer delivered by Customer to a Company facility (the “Warehouse”) in a neat and orderly manner. The Company shall exercise such due care in regard to such Goods as a reasonably careful warehouse provider would exercise in like circumstances. The Company shall promptly notify Customer of any condition respecting the Warehouse that would prevent or otherwise limit the Company’s performance of the Services. b) Company’s handling charges cover ordinary labor in receiving Goods at the warehouse door, placing Goods in storage and returning Goods to the warehouse door. Handling charges are due and payable on receipt of Goods. When Goods are ordered out in quantities less than what received, Company may assess an additional charge to Customer. Warehouse labor required for services other than ordinary handling and storage will be charged to the Customer. c) A charge in addition to regular rates will be made for merchandise held in a bonded area. d) In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a Warehouse Receipt issued by Company, if any, the terms or conditions of such Warehouse Receipt will apply with respect to the storage of Goods, but not with respect to any packaging services performed by Company or its affiliate.
