W ork Day. A RTICLE 9 - HOURS OF WORK AND OVERTIME The normal work day shall consist of eight (8) hours’ work to be completed within eight and one-half (8½) consecutive hours.
W ork Day. 8.031 Except as otherwise authorized in this Agreement, daily consecutive duty hours to a bargaining unit member shall not exceed seven and one half (7 ½) hours, including the thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch period. No meeting will be scheduled during a bargaining unit member’s lunch period. A member shall not be required to report for duty earlier than 7:20 a.m. nor remain on duty later than 4:00 p.m.
W ork Day. 1. For the purpose of this Agreement, the employee’s work day shall consist of the hours designated by the Superintendent. Except for emergency situations or unanticipated needs, every effort will be made to establish the work day for current employees no later than the last day of the fiscal year.
W ork Day. The workday for full-time custodians, maintenance workers, and groundskeeper employees shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours, and for twelve (12) month secretaries seven (7) hours, and nine (9) month employees working seven (7) hours, excluding a lunch period scheduled by the District of not less than thirty
W ork Day. 1. Instructional Assistants and Library Assistants are generally on duty eight and one-quarter (8.25) hours daily, exclusive of any employee lunch breaks provided. They are subject to duty assignments during student lunch periods. Starting and ending times may vary depending on work site and individual job responsibilities.
W ork Day. The standard work day for professional personnel is eight hours in length. It may be extended as necessary to accommodate school-sponsored programs, activities, and athletic events. All such programs, activities, and athletic events shall be scheduled in such a manner as to be consistent with established district goals and objectives. Professional employees are entitled to a duty-free lunch period of not less than thirty (30) minutes. However, they may voluntarily relinquish the duty-free lunch period, in which case they shall be compensated for any assigned duties performed during that period of time. Part time teachers are those whose work is based on a full contract year but less than a full duty day. Part-time teacher salaries shall be determined on a pro rata basis on the appropriate step of the teacher salary matrixes if the teacher were employed full-time. The terms of employment shall include preparation time and other duties, on a pro rata basis, as are assigned full-time teachers.

W ork Day. The workday for the Supervisor of Special Services/Social Worker shall be similar to other administrative personnel except that it is understood that the Supervisor of Special Services/Social Worker is employed for specific tasks and is expected to work beyond the regular workday in order to accomplish such tasks when necessary. Such employment shall be considered part of the contract and no additional remuneration shall be provided. W ORK YEAR The work year of the Supervisor of Special Services/Social Worker shall be from July 1st, through June 30th and shall be made up of work days, vacation days, holidays, sick days, personal days and non-work days. Non-work days are non-compensated days when the Supervisor of Special Services/Social Worker is not required to report to work unless directed by the Superintendent.
