VPS 1 Classification Clause Samples
The VPS 1 Classification clause defines the specific category or class assigned to a vessel under a recognized classification society. VPS 1 Classification. (a) The parties agree that the VPS 1 classification will become a training grade. Employees classified as VPS 1 when the Agreement commences operation will transition to VPS 2 effective from that date.
(b) The parties agree to review the Grade 1 classification descriptors within six months of the Agreement being approved by FWC to ensure that the classification standards are appropriate for a training grade.
VPS 1 Classification. The Parties agree that the Grade 1 classification will commence at the Grade 1.5 as at 4 May 2009, with existing Employees in salary points Grade 1.1 to 1.4 translating to the former Grade 1.5 salary point, based on the salary received immediately prior to 1 July 2009, with the 2% salary increase applying to their new rate on 1 July 2009.
