Common use of Voluntary Transfer Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Transfer. A supervisor who transfers within the same class shall receive no salary adjustment. A supervisor who transfers between classes shall receive the minimum adjustment necessary to bring his/her salary up to the minimum salary for the new class or up to a published salary rate for the class. However, a supervisor receiving a rate of pay in excess of the range maximum shall continue to receive that rate of pay.
