Voluntary Standby Clause Samples

The Voluntary Standby clause allows a party to temporarily suspend its participation or obligations under an agreement by choice, rather than due to a breach or external requirement. In practice, this means a party can elect to step back from active involvement or service provision for a specified period, often with advance notice and subject to certain conditions outlined in the contract. This clause provides flexibility for parties to manage their commitments without permanently exiting the agreement, addressing situations where temporary withdrawal is necessary without triggering penalties or termination.
