Voluntary Assignments. Any Teacher presently on tenure or eligible for continuing contractual status in the coming school term may apply for assignment to another position when a vacancy exists. Such application shall be in writing to the Superintendent. When the Superintendent has made a decision, the Teacher may request a conference.

Any Teacher presently currently on tenure or eligible for continuing contractual status in the coming school term may apply for assignment to another position when a vacancy exists. Such application shall be in writing to the Superintendent. When the Superintendent has made a decision, the Teacher may request a conferenceconference within 10 school days of the Superintendent’s decision. The Superintendent will select Teachers to fill teaching vacancies based upon School Code Section 24-11 and any other applicable law.
