VIN Officers. When a vacancy occurs, it will be advertised to all eligible employees via the Daily Bulletin and posting at twenty-four (24) hour facilities (where applicable). Employees will be given a minimum of ten (10) calendar days to submit a written transfer request. Appointment will be made from among the three (3) candidates with the longest most recent period of unbroken service with the classification. Supervisors will attempt to contact any employee who is on any form of leave with the information of the advertised vacancy.
