Video Portion Clause Samples

The "Video Portion" clause defines which segments or elements of a project, program, or agreement specifically pertain to video content. This clause typically outlines what constitutes the video component, such as recorded footage, live streams, or video-based deliverables, and may specify how these are to be produced, delivered, or used. By clearly delineating the video aspects from other media or content types, the clause ensures that responsibilities, rights, and obligations related to video are unambiguous, thereby preventing misunderstandings and disputes over what is included in the video scope of the agreement.
Video Portion. Within a Licensed Product, the video portion of Decrypted AACS Content shall not be present on any User-Accessible Bus in analog or unencrypted, compressed form. Licensed Products shall be clearly designed such that when the video portion of uncompressed Decrypted AACS Content is transmitted over a User-Accessible Bus in digital form, such Decrypted AACS Content is either limited to Constrained Image or made reasonably secure from unauthorized interception. Note to Adopter: When AACS determines that it is commercially reasonable, AACS LA will amend the Compliance Rules to require the video portion of all Decrypted AACS Content, whether compressed or de-compressed and irrespective of resolution, to be protected on and across user-accessible buses, subject to the compliance periods set forth in Section 3.2
