Common use of Vests Clause in Contracts

Vests. Existing employees, upon expiration of their current vests, shall be eligible to purchase their own protective vests, including optional trauma plates, and be eligible to submit for reimbursement to the County of up to one thousand dollars ($1000) with proof of purchase. New employees shall be responsible for purchase of their own protective vests, including optional trauma plates and, upon providing proof of purchase, will be eligible for reimbursement of up to one thousand dollars ($1000). After initial reimbursement, employees with continued five (5) years of service, standard shelf life of Kevlar, shall be eligible for reimbursement upon proof of purchase of new vest and expiration of old one.
