Verbal Counseling/Warning. The XXX shall first issue a verbal counseling/warning before imposing further discipline. Verbal counseling/warnings may result in a post-conference summary memorandum. The post-conference summary memorandum shall not 29 Article 28- New Article added 03/13: Renamed Article 29 04/16; be placed in the Unit Member’s personnel file, but may be attached to a Written Warning and/or Written Reprimand, and placed in the personnel file in the event that additional steps of the progressive disciplinary process are utilized.
