Common use of Ventilation Equipment Clause in Contracts

Ventilation Equipment. (a) An electrically powered exhaust hood ventilation system with grease filters or screens shall be provided over all cooking equipment to adequately remove cooking odors, smoke, steam, grease and vapors. The use of galvanized hoods, filters or screens is prohibited. (b) Grease filters shall be constructed from stainless steel, aluminum or other (NSF approved material), and be readily accessible for cleaning.
