Vehicle Equipment. Rural carriers shall furnish all necessary vehicle equip- ment for prompt handling of the mail unless the vehicle is furnished by the Employer. The Employer reserves the right to provide vehicles at its option to any route. For each day on which a carrier or replacement who is required to provide a vehicle receives pay in an active duty status as a rural carrier, such employee shall be paid for EMA for the day determined from the applica- ble schedule.
Vehicle Equipment. The rear axle may be indifferently fitted with 2 or 4 tyres. For the reference tyre testing, both axles are fitted with reference tyres. (A total of 4 or 6 reference tyres depending on the choice above mentioned). For the candidate tyre testing, 3 fitting configurations are possible:
Vehicle Equipment. We will make sure everything on our vehicle is operating correctly when you collect it and ensure you understand how it all works as part of our collection tour. If anything on board fails during your holiday please call us straight away. We will try our best to get it up and running again but this may not always be possible.

Vehicle Equipment. Vehicles needed to operate the service are to be provided by and maintained in good repair and in a condition satisfactory to the city by the contractor. The contractor will be responsible for licensing of this equipment and must comply with all applicable federal and other statues and regulations governing its use. The vehicles are to be a lift equipped minivan or other ADA compliant vehicle, white or dark green in color, All vehicles utilized in the DAR fleet are required to have each service’s logo/decal design, and artwork for each service is needed. Contractor is responsible for the expenses of the fabrication of these items and placing the logo/decals on the vehicle. Contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the logo/decal and artwork on the vehicles. The contractor shall make cell phones available to all drivers for use in emergency. Any other type of vehicles used for Dial-A-Ride service is to be approved in writing by the Director of Public Works Department.
Vehicle Equipment. Every reasonable effort will be taken to retain assigned vehicles/equipment to the route selected by the employee. Employees shall be provided with appropriate personal protective equipment based on the operational needs of the District or the job duties of the employee. Employees will follow safe practices and operating methods on all jobs assigned. Employees shall be required to wear the safety devices, protective clothing, or equipment provided by management for employee protection.
Vehicle Equipment. Vehicle Equipment. The Employer agrees to install in each new emergency vehicle an AM/FM radio with speakers in the driver's compartment. The radio shall not be turned on during radio transmissions and will be used with discretion regarding the patients' well being.
Vehicle Equipment. Marked patrol vehicles shall be equipped with all appropriate equipment as presently furnished if in management's opinion it is needed. That need will be based on such things as availability, serviceability, cost and operational need. Prior to making any significant changes in the equipment, the Union will be consulted.
