VARIATIONS TO THE SERVICES. 3.1 The Council reserves the right on giving reasonable written notice at any time to require changes to the Services (including by way of the removal of elements of the Services, the addition of new services, or increasing or decreasing the Services or specifying the order in which the Services are to be performed or the locations where the Services are to be provided) for any reasons whatsoever provided however that such variation does not amount to a fundamental change. Such a change is hereinafter called "a Variation".

The adjustment to the remuneration, whether negative or positive, shall include a reasonable allowance for profit. The Contractor shall not commence work on the variation without Council’s consent and written agreement between the parties to the varied remuneration and the time for completion.
