Validity of Tenders. 2.13.1 Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days or as specified in the invitation to tender after date of tender opening prescribed by the Procuring entity, pursuant to paragraph 2.18. A tender valid for a shorter period shall be rejected by the Procuring entity as non-responsive. 2.13.2 In exceptional circumstances, the Procuring entity may solicit the Tenderer’s consent to an extension of the period of validity. The request and the responses thereto shall be made in writing. The tender security provided Under paragraph 2.12 shall also be suitably extended.
