VACATION SELLBACK Sample Clauses

VACATION SELLBACK. An employee may elect to covert for payment in cash a maximum of half of his/her annual vacation accrual, computed at the employee’s current salary rate, provided that the employee takes off two weeks of vacation and/or compensatory time in the calendar year the vacation sellback takes place. The vacation sellback shall only be in effect provided that two weeks of vacation accrual remain on the books after the vacation sellback takes place.

VACATION SELLBACK. Employees may receive equivalent cash payment for up to five (5) vacation days per fiscal year. Employees accruing at least twenty (20) days of vacation may receive equivalent cash payment for up to ten (10) days per fiscal year. This benefit shall be prorated for part-time employees based on the proportion of the normal forty (40) hour workweek for which the employee is regularly scheduled to work. In lieu of, or in addition to the foregoing, an employee may use accrued vacation leave to be credited against his/her transition pay obligation to the County. Vacation sellback under this subsection is in addition to the amount of sellback that can be used to purchase County-sponsored Disability Insurance Plans under Section 29. Requests for vacation sellback are irrevocable. Effective two (2) pay periods following adoption of the MOU by the Board of Supervisors, through the remaining term of this MOU, employees accruing twenty-five (25) days of vacation may receive equivalent cash payment for up to fifteen (15) days per fiscal year.

VACATION SELLBACK. Effective December 23, 2012 (the first pay period of payroll calendar year 2013), the Vacation Sellback program will be eliminated and no employee will be eligible to sellback any accrued vacation hours.
VACATION SELLBACK. A Deputy Sheriff or Sergeant may receive the equivalent cash payment of up to 120 hours per fiscal year, in a minimum of eight (8) hour increments per pay period. This benefit shall be prorated for part-time employees in the normal work week for which the employee is normally scheduled to work. Requests for vacation sellback are irrevocable.

VACATION SELLBACK. Employees may elect pay in lieu of vacation up to a maximum of forty (40) hours per calendar year. Vacation sellback is subject to the following requirements and procedures:
VACATION SELLBACK. An employee may elect to receive cash payment up to a maximum of forty (40) hours of his/her accumulated vacation balance effective for FY 2020/2021 and 2021/2022. An employee may elect to receive a cash payment for a maximum of forty (40) hours of his/her unused accumulated vacation balance after the use of a scheduled vacation of forty (40) hours or more in the same or prior fiscal year. To utilize this option, employees must maintain a balance of forty (40) accrued vacation hours after the cash payment. When in effect, this option may be exercised once per fiscal year. Employees may elect this option by December 31 of each year for the cash out the following calendar year. The cash out election is irrevocable and the City will follow IRS regulations regarding cash payment of leave.
VACATION SELLBACK. Fire Department shift employees may sellback up to three, 24-hour vacation days per year. Vacation sellback shall be completed no later than December 31 of the calendar year in which the vacation time was scheduled. Vacation hours once sold back cannot be reversed. Bargaining unit members assigned to a 40-hour work week, are eligible to sellback up to 2 vacation days
