Common use of Vacation Period Clause in Contracts

Vacation Period. ‌ An employee shall submit a request for vacation leave in writing prior to the absence. The Employer or its designee shall respond in writing within five (5) working days, and shall deny the request only to meet job-related organizational needs. When a request is made more than six months in advance and organizational needs may interfere with approval, the request will be discussed between the requesting employee and the employer within five (5) working days of the request. No request shall be unreasonably denied or response delayed.
