Vacation Payments. (a) Payments of vacation pay to employees will be made in advance. If an employee is permanently laid off or resigns, vacation pay or fraction thereof shall be payable in cash or check on the regular pay day for the week of separation.

Vacation Payments. 23.03 An employee shall be paid his basic weekly wage for each week of the vacation period to which he is eligible, unless part-timing, within the meaning of Article 14 of this Agreement, is in effect, in which case the vacation pay shall be reduced proportionately to the reduction in hours. Weekly night differential payments and temporary promotional increases shall be included in the weekly vacation payments only when an employee has been receiving the differential payment or promotional increase for one or more payroll weeks immediately preceding his vacation assignment. Vacation Payments. Payments for vacation pay to employees entitled to one (1) weeks' vacation or fraction thereof will be made in advance. Vacation pay for the second (2nd) and third (3rd) week's vacation or fraction thereof will be made in advance of the time off or may be paid in lieu of time off as follows: Second (2nd) week or fraction ‑ first regular pay day after return to work from time‑off vacations. Third (3rd) week or fraction ‑ regular pay day preceding Christmas Day but at least one (1) week before Christmas Day. Such vacation (time off) or vacation pay shall be paid at the straight time hourly rates of pay (excluding a shift premium) in effect for said employees at the time of taking vacation or receiving fractional vacation pay upon separation from employment. In figuring all earned vacation, a percentage of the regular straight‑time hours worked during the year preceding May 1 will be used to determine the vacation pay. Overtime is not to be used in computing vacation time.
Vacation Payments. At termination of employment, any earned vacation time shall be paid to the member by the District, at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools which shall not be applied in an arbitrary or capricious fashion. A member shall have the right to receive vacation upon retirement.

Vacation Payments. If an employee dies during his employment with the City of Owosso his estate shall receive a cash payment for any accrued vacation credits. If an employee is scheduled to be laid off the employer shall grant any unused vacation credits including those accrued in the current year prior to the effective date of layoff. A recalled employee who received credit at the time of the lay off shall have such credit deducted from his vacation the following year. If an employee retires he shall make every attempt to schedule prior to the effective date all unused and accrued vacation credits.
Vacation Payments. 28.2.1. An employee who has completed at least one (1) year of continuous service and whose employment is terminated for any reason except discharge or resignation in lieu of dismissal shall receive compensation for unused vacation time plus the pro-rated vacation time for each full month worked since the employee’s most recent anniversary date.
