Vacation Leave Administration. Vacation scheduling under this article will be effective for vacation opportunities beginning with the vacation year in effect at the time of transition. Scheduling policies in existence at Adventist, to the extent that they do not affect the vacation year beginning the date of transition, will continue to be utilized through the first six months of employment. Accordingly, vacation requested prior to the transition and scheduled after the transition will be granted. Thereafter, we will use our best efforts to provide vacation time off at times requested by employees consistent with operational needs. At the time of accretion, existing vacation balances for Adventist Hospital from Home employees will be cashed out by Adventist. All vacation requests will be submitted in in accordance with ▇▇▇▇’s electronic system, Article 13.2 of the OHSU/ONA contract.
