Vacation Leave Administration. Vacation scheduling under this article will be effective for vacation opportunities beginning with the vacation year in effect at the time of transition. Scheduling policies in existence at Adventist, to the extent that they do not affect the vacation year beginning the date of transition, will continue to be utilized through the first six months of employment. Accordingly, vacation requested prior to the transition and scheduled after the transition will be granted. Thereafter, we will use our best efforts to provide vacation time off at times requested by employees consistent with operational needs. At the time of accretion, existing vacation balances for Adventist Hospital from Home employees will be cashed out by Adventist. All vacation requests will be submitted in in accordance with XXXX’s electronic system, Article 13.2 of the OHSU/ONA contract.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave Administration (a) for the purposes of administration of clauses 34.11 and 34.12, where an employee does not work the same number of hours each week, the normal workweek shall be the weekly average calculated on a monthly basis.

  • Shared Leave Administration A. The calculation of the recipient’s leave value will be in accordance with applicable Office of Financial Management policies, regulations, and procedures. The leave received will be coded as shared leave and be maintained separately from all other leave balances. All paid leave accrued must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.1. Accrued vacation leave and paid military leave allowed under RCW 38.40.060 must be used prior to using shared leave for employees qualified under 13.2 A.2. All paid leave, except sick leave, must be used prior to using shared leave when the employee qualifies for shared leave under 13.2 A.3 and 13.2 A.4.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • ’ Compensation Leave If such determination cannot readily be made and all healthcare leave or annual leave subject to 100% payoff has been applied to the absence, the employee shall be placed on Official Leave until a final determination is made.
