Common use of Vacation Entitlements Clause in Contracts

Vacation Entitlements. Employees shall earn annual vacation entitlement for any calendar year only when they reach their anniversary, although they may take annual vacation anytime during that calendar year. However, employees are not entitled to take a vacation until they have completed six (6) months' continuous service. Employees who complete the years of service shown under column (1) shall be entitled to the corresponding number of days of Annual Vacation with pay as shown in column (2) to be taken during that year and subsequent years.
