Common use of Vacation Deferral Clause in Contracts

Vacation Deferral. An employee who is entitled to annual vacation of twenty (20) working days or more in any year: (1) shall take at least fifteen (15) working days of such annual vacation during the year in which such vacation is earned, and (2) may defer the taking of any part of such annual vacation in excess of fifteen (15) working days. PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that the maximum deferred vacation which an employee may accumulate at any one time pursuant to this Article 7.1(c) shall be twenty (20) working days.
