Vacation Days and Holidays. The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction shall be entitled to twenty-six (26) paid vacation days and fifteen (15) holidays as granted to other twelve month district administrators. Vacation days shall be earned and accrued monthly on a prorate basis. A maximum of five (5) unused vacation days may be carried over to next year and must be used by December 31st of the current year. In the event that the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction’s Contract is terminated prior to its expiration, unused vacation time shall be paid on a pro-rated basis of 2.17 days accrued per month. Vacation Days and Holidays. The Business Administrator shall be entitled to the same number of paid vacation days (20) and holidays granted to other twelve month district administrators. The Board, through its Business Office, shall be responsible for maintaining a written documentation of the Business Administrator's earned, used and accrued vacation days. The Business Administrator shall have the right to carry over up to ten (10) days of unused vacation time into the school year immediately following the school year in which those days were earned and accrued. Vacation days shall not be carried over for more than one (1) year.

  • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to three (3) weeks' paid vacation each calendar year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays and other paid leave set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days during any calendar year that are not used by the Executive during such calendar year may be used in any subsequent calendar year; provided, however, that no more than six weeks' paid vacation may be accrued or carried forward.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.
