Common use of Use or Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Use or Disclosure. Business Associate will use reasonable and diligent efforts and employ appropriate safeguards, and will comply with all applicable law and regulation with respect to the disclosure of protected health information both electronically and otherwise, to prevent use or further disclosure of protected health information created or received by Business Associate from, or on behalf of, Covered Entity (“Protected Health Information”) other than as expressly permitted or required by the Agreement or as required by law.
