Use and Procedures. 1. Members may use accrued sick time if they are unable to work during scheduled hours due to personal illness or injury, or for illness or injury within the member's immediate family. “Immediate family” shall be defined as husband, wife, domestic partner, domestic partner’s children, father, mother, son, daughter, sister, brother, step-child, grand-parent, parent-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in- law, and any other member of the immediate household. Sick time may also be used for any other reason allowed by state and/or federal law.
