Usage, Review of Non-Permanent Labour. “The Company” agrees that the utilisation of non-permanent labour will not jeopardise the job tenure of permanent employees. Labour Hire will be used for periods of up to three months for replacement of long term absences or projects. This may vary slightly due to personal arrangements. Temporary Labour will be used for longer periods but not greater than 12 months unless exceptional circumstances exist at which the Department Delegate will be consulted. “The Company” will review all positions occupied by non-permanent labour on an at least annual basis to assist decisions regarding the use of non-permanent labour. This Agreement does not restrict “The Company” from using Contractor Labour to undertake work that has traditionally utilised contract labour.
