UNSCHEDULED HOURS. 1. If an officer works additional hours (e.g. makes an arrest while working extra duty) on an Extra Duty assignment, the Establishment / Applicant will not be responsible for payment of the additional costs, rather the officer will submit for overtime payment or compensation.

UNSCHEDULED HOURS. Any hours beyond scheduled hours shall be offered on a seniority basis to employees within their job classification. Any new shifts, not contained on the schedule at the time it is issued, shall be offered on a seniority basis to employees within the Information Desk Clerk department, subject to the Letter of Understanding # 2, (3).
UNSCHEDULED HOURS. Unscheduled hours shall include those necessary to accommodate paid holidays, approved staff vacation and the various types of leaves.
UNSCHEDULED HOURS. When unexpected additional hours become available in a department, the Employer will attempt to fill the hours by seniority (assuming the employee is qualified) whenever possible, except in cases where overtime would result. Available hours will not be split unless agreed to by the Employer. If a senior employee believes he/she has been unreasonably denied the opportunity to work such hours, the remedy shall be the opportunity to work future available hours.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance.

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment.   • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.
