Unsafe Work Conditions. No employee will be disciplined for refusal to work on an assignment which, in the opinion of: a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee; or a person designated by a safety committee; or a safety officer; or a xxxxxxx at a worksite where there is no safety committee; after an on-site inspection and following discussion with a representative of the Employer, does not meet the standards established pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act. Where an employee acts in compliance with Section 8.24 of the Workers' Compensation Board Industrial Health and Safety Regulations, they will not be subject to disciplinary action.
