Unpaid Wages. On Bxxxxxxxx’x Termination Date, Bxxxxxxxx shall be paid for all accrued and unpaid wages and vacation time (35 days), which Bxxxxxxxx and the Company shall agree prior to the signing of this agreement.

Unpaid Wages. On the Closing Date, Purchaser agrees that with respect to current bargaining unit Employees on the Closing Date and Continued Employees it shall be responsible and liable for (and Purchaser shall pay or cause the relevant subsidiary to pay in the ordinary course) solely to the extent accrued on the Closing Statement all accrued and unpaid wages for services rendered, vacation, and cash bonuses. Seller shall pay all other salary continuation payments (including, but not limited to, disability or paid leaves of absence) to Employees with respect to the period prior to their commencement of active work with Purchaser or any of its Affiliates.
Unpaid Wages. Notwithstanding the termination of the Employment Agreement, the Company shall pay to the Consultant all accrued but unpaid wages earned by the Consultant under the Employment Agreement through the date of this Agreement in accordance with the Company’s normal payroll practices.

  • Unpaid Leaves Employees on unpaid leaves may not participate in the matching program while on leave.

  • Unpaid Leave 6. Accrued compensatory time off may be used at the employee’s discretion, with management approval, after exhaustion of 100% sick leave (No. 3 above). However, FLSA compensatory time off shall not be counted against the employee’s four (4) month (nine [9] pay period [720 hours]) family or medical leave entitlement. Therefore, any use of FLSA compensatory time off under this Section shall extend the employee’s family or medical leave by the total amount of FLSA compensatory time off used.

  • Violation; liability for unpaid wages; liquidated damages In the event of any violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (1.) of this section, the contractor and any subcontractor responsible therefor shall be liable for the unpaid wages. In addition, such contractor and subcontractor shall be liable to the United States (in the case of work done under contract for the District of Columbia or a territory, to such District or to such territory), for liquidated damages. Such liquidated damages shall be computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic, including watchmen and guards, employed in violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (1.) of this section, in the sum of $10 for each calendar day on which such individual was required or permitted to work in excess of the standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by the clause set forth in paragraph (1.) of this section.

  • Unpaid Leave - Union Business (a) Short-term leave of absence without pay to a maximum of fourteen (14) days at one time shall be granted to employees designated by the Union to transact Union business including conventions and conferences unless this would unduly interrupt the operation of the department provided, however, that these designated employees shall be paid by the Employer for time lost in attending meetings during working hours whenever their attendance is requested by the Employer. The Union shall give reasonable notice to minimize disruption of the department and the Union shall make every effort to give a minimum of seven (7) days' notice.

  • Unpaid Carer’s Leave (a) An employee is entitled to a period of up to 2 days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household, requires care or support during such a period because of:

  • Unpaid Leaves of Absence A. A department head or designee may grant an unpaid leave of absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year. The employee shall provide substantiation to support the employee's request for an unpaid leave of absence.

  • Unpaid Claims If a claim for indemnification (following the final disposition of such action, suit or proceeding) or advancement of expenses under this Section 10.02 is not paid in full within thirty (30) days after a written claim therefor by any person described in Section 10.02(a) has been received by the Partnership, such person may file proceedings to recover the unpaid amount of such claim and, if successful in whole or in part, shall be entitled to be paid the expense of prosecuting such claim. In any such action the Partnership shall have the burden of proving that such person is not entitled to the requested indemnification or advancement of expenses under applicable Law.

  • Unpaid Leave of Absence If an employee is on an unpaid leave of absence, then vacation leave, compensatory time, or sick leave cannot be used for the purpose of maintaining eligibility for an Employer Contribution by keeping the employee on a State payroll for one (1) working day per pay period.

  • ACCRUED AND UNPAID AMOUNTS After giving effect to the withdrawals and transfers to be made in accordance with this notice, the following amounts will be accrued and unpaid with respect to all Monthly Periods preceding the current calendar month.
